ITINERARY
Reception at Puerto Montt’s El Tepual Airport. We begin our journey into the Green Patagonia with a private transfer to the pristine Puelo region—one of Chile’s most spectacular hidden gems.
Our first stop is Termas del Sol, a beautiful natural thermal spring complex surrounded by native forest. We’ll enjoy a peaceful afternoon soaking in mineral-rich pools nestled in the Andes foothills.
From there, we continue to Lake Tagua Tagua, where a boat awaits to take us across the lake to Lodge Tagua Tagua, an exclusive eco-lodge located in a private reserve. This serene retreat will be our home for the next two nights.
Dinner at the lodge is prepared by an in-house chef and paired with Chilean wines.
We start the day with breakfast overlooking the lake. Then, we set out on a guided canoe excursion—paddling in double canoes across the clear, mirror-like waters of Lake Tagua Tagua or nearby Lake Victoria, surrounded by lush temperate rainforest.
After the morning activity, we return to the lodge for lunch and a relaxing siesta. In the afternoon, unwind in the lodge’s wood-fired hot tub with views of the forest and lake.
Later, we gather for evening drinks and enjoy a chef-prepared dinner at the lodge.
After breakfast and checkout, we return by boat across the lake, where our vehicle awaits. We head to Termas de Cochamó, tucked deep in the rainforest, for a tranquil morning soak in natural hot pools.
In the afternoon, we travel to Ensenada to begin a cycling journey along Chile’s longest dedicated bike path, tracing the edge of Lake Llanquihue, the second-largest lake in the country. With panoramic views of Osorno Volcano, this ride blends adventure and scenic beauty.
We end the day in Puerto Varas, a lakeside town known for its German architecture and volcano vistas. Check-in at your hotel in town, directly facing the lake. Dinner tonight is at Casa Valdés, a renowned seafood restaurant specializing in fresh, local dishes.
After an early breakfast, we transfer to Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, the oldest in Chile and South America. The park was inspired by early conservation ideas introduced by President Theodore Roosevelt, whose legacy helped shape the creation of protected natural areas across the continent.
Today, we take on the Paso Desolación trail, a stunning 6–7 hour hike that passes through volcanic fields, lenga forests, and panoramic ridges with unforgettable views of Lake Todos los Santos and the Osorno, Calbuco, and Puntiagudo volcanoes.
Along the trail, we enjoy a picnic-style lunch and may spot native wildlife including condors and forest birds. Our hike ends at La Picada, where our driver picks us up and takes us back to Puerto Varas.
Enjoy a final relaxing evening and dinner in town.
After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to El Tepual Airport in time for your return flight.End of the program.
