Upon arrival at Bariloche Airport in Argentina, our Patagonian journey begins. We’ll enjoy lunch in Bariloche before heading into the mountains by private vehicle. The scenic drive takes us deep into Nahuel Huapi National Park, Argentina’s oldest national park, where glacial valleys and snowcapped peaks welcome us.
We reach Pampa Linda, a peaceful basecamp nestled beneath the towering Cerro Tronador. Surrounded by ancient forests and waterfalls, this area sets the stage for the hiking adventure ahead.

After breakfast, we set off on foot and officially begin our Andean crossing. The trail winds through lush temperate rainforest, crossing streams and alpine meadows as we gradually gain altitude. The sound of waterfalls and views of glaciers accompany us as we hike deeper into the Andes.

Day 3
Trekking & Natural Hot Springs – To Refugio La Junta

We continue our journey on foot, descending through a lush forest valley shaped by rivers and ancient volcanic flows. As the vegetation thickens, we arrive at a remote natural hot spring—a perfect opportunity to relax our muscles in warm, mineral-rich waters while surrounded by nature.
From there, we continue to Refugio La Junta, set in a pristine riverside meadow at the foot of granite cliffs. The atmosphere is tranquil, ideal for unwinding after a full day of hiking.
