Patagonia EXP

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This policy explains the processing of personal data on patagoniaexp.com and through Patagonia EXP contact forms, including Facebook and Instagram lead forms.

1. Who handles your data

Patagonia EXP manages the information received to answer enquiries and coordinate travel experiences. Contact info@patagoniaexp.com to ask about the processing of your data or exercise your rights.

2. Information we receive

We receive the information you provide in each form: name, email address, phone number where requested, destination or activity of interest, dates, number of travellers and your message. The newsletter requests your email address. Required fields are identified in each form; other fields are optional.

3. Passenger forms

To organise a trip, passenger forms also request identification, passport, birth, emergency contact, insurance, transfer, accommodation, and health and dietary information relevant to the activity. This information is used for trip coordination and safety. Avoid including medical information or identity documents in a general sales enquiry. If you provide another person’s information, you must have their permission.

4. How we use information

We use data to answer requests, prepare quotations, provide availability information, follow up enquiries and coordinate requested services. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we use your email to send updates. You can ask to stop receiving marketing communications by emailing info@patagoniaexp.com. A travel enquiry does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

5. Facebook and Instagram forms

If you submit a Patagonia EXP form on Facebook or Instagram, we receive the details you agree to share in that form to respond about the requested experience using the contact channels you provide. Meta processes information on its platforms under its own privacy policy.

6. Browsing data and measurement

The website uses Google Tag Manager and Google measurement tools to analyse visits and campaign results. It also keeps visit-source information in browser session storage and associates it with enquiries to identify their source, such as a campaign, landing page or referring website. These tools may process identifiers, device information and browsing activity through cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies and storage in your browser settings; blocking them may affect some features and measurement.

7. Providers and recipients

To operate the website and manage enquiries, we use hosting, form storage, email and sales follow-up providers, including Supabase and Google services. The form workflow also uses Resend for email notifications. Information needed for a trip may be shared with providers involved in the requested services. These services may process data outside Chile. You can request information about the recipients of your data by emailing our contact address.

8. Retention and care of data

Data is retained for as long as needed to answer the enquiry, coordinate requested services and meet applicable legal obligations. You can request information about retention or ask for deletion where applicable. Access to and use of information must be limited to the people and providers who need it for these purposes.

9. Your rights and how to exercise them

You can request information about your data and its use, ask for inaccurate data to be corrected, request deletion or blocking where applicable, and object to marketing communications. Where processing relies on your permission, you can withdraw it for future uses. Email info@patagoniaexp.com with the subject “Privacy” and describe your request. We may ask for the minimum information necessary to verify your identity.

10. Changes to this policy

We will publish updates on this page with the revision date. Contact us if you need clarification about an update or the processing of your data.
